The Reflections Arts Program encourages students to tap their inner creativity and express themselves through their artwork. Students are invited to reflect on a common theme — "What My Culture Means to Me" — and submit original artwork in one of six arts categories:
Students of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Each entry must meet the category requirements and must be accompanied by a completed Student Entry Form. For more information, download the Reflections category rules below, and the entry form.
Entries are due October 30, 2026. Please see 2026-27 guidelines for entry submissions. Entries may be submitted digitally through this Virtual Entry Form.

Each student who enters Reflections must have a family/household member who is a member of the CPHS PTSA. Click here to join.

Reflections participants at Cedar Park High School may receive an Award of Excellence, Award of Merit, or Honorable Mention. Entries receiving the CPHS Award of Excellence advance to the District/Council Level. Council entries receiving the Overall Award of Excellence advance to the State Level. All Reflections artists receive recognition at each level.
At the National Level, awards include:
Merit Award: Bronze Medal, Certificate of Merit, Work featured in the traveling exhibition
Award of Excellence: $200 Young Artist Scholarship, Silver Medal, Certificate of Excellence, work featured in the traveling exhibition
Outstanding Interpretation Award: Expense-paid trip to National PTA Awards and Reflections Celebration to showcase work on stage, $800 Young Artist Scholarship, Gold Medal, Certificate of Outstanding Interpretation, work featured in traveling exhibition
