The Reflections Arts Program encourages students to tap their inner creativity and express themselves through their artwork. Students are invited to reflect on a common theme — "Accepting Imperfection" — and submit original artwork in one of six arts categories:
Students of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Each entry must meet the category requirements and must be accompanied by a completed Student Entry Form. For more information, download the Reflections category rules and entry form.
Entries are due October 31, 2024. Please see 2024-25 guidelines for entry submissions. Entries may be submitted digitally through this Virtual Entry Form. Physical entries may be submitted in the library Oct. 8-Oct. 31.
Reflections participants at Cedar Park High School may advance to the District/Council, State and National Level, receiving recognition at each level.
At the National Level, awards include:
Merit Award: Bronze Medal, Certificate of Merit, Work featured in the traveling exhibition
Award of Excellence: $200 Young Artist Scholarship, Silver Medal, Certificate of Excellence, work featured in the traveling exhibition
Outstanding Interpretation Award: Expense-paid trip to National PTA Awards and Reflections Celebration to showcase work on stage, $800 Young Artist Scholarship, Gold Medal, Certificate of Outstanding Interpretation, work featured in traveling exhibition
