Students may earn points toward earning a grad cord by being a PTSA student member, volunteering at PTSA events, participating in the PTA Reflections Arts Program, attending PTSA meetings and events, serving on our board and committees, completing PTSA-approved community service hours and more!
Honor cords traditionally recognize and celebrate students in high schools and colleges. They symbolize such accomplishments as academic excellence, community service, leadership skills, and dedication to extracurricular activities.
Seniors: To qualify for a PTSA Grad Cord, you must be a PTSA member by March 15 of your senior year and you must have at least a 2.5 GPA.
Students must be a member of CPHS PTSA at least two years (including senior year).
**Class of 2025 students are grandfathered in for this qualification, but must earn points from the listed Grad Cord Point Opportunities in addition to membership points.
Must have at least a 2.5 GPA.
All activities must be confirmed and approved by the CPHS PTSA Board.
Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors may submit their online form each year by May 15.
Seniors and students graduating this school year must submit their online cord reporting form by April 15.

For the classes of 2025, 2026, and 2027, we are using an adjusted point system to enable students to earn points toward a graduation cord starting with their current grade.
Class of 2025: 15 points**
Class of 2026: 25 points
Class of 2027: 30 points
Class of 2028 & beyond: 50 points
Please submit your hours and information through the Grad Cord Online Form. You may upload a volunteer/service hours form that includes the organization's contact information or you may use this form to keep track of your volunteer hours.
