CPHS Student Council is hosting Relay For Life, Saturday, February 28, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the CPHS Football Field. Relay For Life is a national fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, bringing together hundreds of students, community members and faculty for a fundraising walk.

Apply by April 1 for a PTSA Scholarship

The CPHS PTSA is awarding $6,750 in scholarships to students graduating in 2026!

Details and applications are available under the Scholarships tab. Entries may be submitted by April 1.

Earn a PTSA Graduation Cord

Students may earn a PTSA honor cord to wear at graduation. Earn points by becoming a PTSA member, participating in PTA events and programs, and volunteering in the community. Find details under the Grad Cord tab.

PTSA Proposes Removing May Meeting from Bylaws

The Cedar Park High School PTSA Bylaws Review Committee proposes the following amendment to the bylaws:

Current Verbiage:

Article VIII. Membership Meetings

Section 1. In-Person Meetings.

A. Regular Meetings. Regular membership meetings shall be held in September, February, April, and May. Place, date and time shall be established by the executive board at its first meeting of the year. Immediately following the first executive board meeting, the membership shall be notified of the place, date and time of all membership meetings through regular publicity channels. Five days' notice shall be given if a change of date is needed or if a virtual meeting is being changed to an in person meeting.

Rationale:
Scheduling a PTSA meeting in the month of May is challenging for our board and our members, as families, staff and volunteers are busy wrapping up the end of the academic year. The PTSA's May meetings historically have had low attendance. Removing the May membership meeting from the schedule will allow the PTSA board to focus on increasing productivity and member engagement at the September, February and April membership meetings.

CPHS PTSA members will vote on the proposed bylaws change at the PTSA Membership Meeting on Thursday, February 19, 2026, 6:15 p.m. The link to the virtual meeting will be posted soon. Please email any comments or questions to president@cphsptsa.org or parliamentarian@cphsptsa.org.

The funds allow PTSA to provide breakfast in August, treats in the fall, a holiday party in December, something special in April, and Teacher Appreciation treats in May. The Leander ISD PTA Clothes Closet provides gently used school clothing and brand-new socks and underwear to students in our school district. Each semester, students are able to shop for 10 tops, 10 bottoms, 2 outerwear items, 5 pairs of new socks and underwear, and two pairs of shoes. All clothing items are FREE; there are no income requirements or vouchers required, but students must live within Leander ISD boundaries.

Wolfpack Buddies is a fun, secret sponsor-a-staff member program that lets CPHS families show our appreciation to our hard-working staff members throughout the year. There are three goodie drop-off events scheduled for this school year: (dates to be determined). Please deliver your goodies to the front of the school on those dates!

All current and new LISD volunteers are required to complete a new volunteer application for the current school year. This includes any volunteer work done on campus or off-campus for the high school including athletic and booster events.
